YouTube channel The King of Random always surprises us with their random (pun intended) and intriguing videos that are both entertaining and educational. This time they decided to show us how to make a giant Tootsie Roll.
Tootsie Rolls are a small taffy-like candy which has been manufactured in the United States since 1970. It has since become kids’ favorite, but also has lots of fans among adults. One of them is The King of Random‘s Calli who was intrigued to find out whether you can make this candy at home. And while she was at it, she decided to go big and try to make a giant 10 LB version of it.
After searching through the internet, Calli found a simple recipe that required just chocolate, corn syrup, and food flavoring and got to work. She also filmed the entire process of making the giant edible Tootsie Roll so people at home can try it as well.
