Dito Von Tease is the pseudonym of a digital artist living in Bologna, Italy best known for his project called Ditology, a gallery of finger-portraits of famous and common people.
Since he started his project, the artist has been breaking the Internet. Nowadays he shares his newest series where the subject of the paintings takes selfies.
“Classicool is an iconoclastic project that blends together two apparently heterogeneous aesthetics, creating an ironic and surprising result.” artist explained. “These are not just memes shared on social networks, they are finished and detailed artworks, like real paintings of the past, showing subjects in authentic and modern selfie poses.”
