Every fashionista will tell you that style is forever, and closely following the latest fashion trends doesn’t automatically mean that you have style. But former Japanese teacher Silver Tetsuya seems to be born with an amazing sense of style and he rocks it like no one else.
At 84 years of age, Tetsuya proves that age is just number when it comes to having a fashion sense, just like with many other things. In collaboration with his grandson Naoya Kudo, who is also his photographer, he regularly creates creative, stylish outfits that leave even Gen Z influencers with their mouths open.
Thanks to his unusual style, Tetsuya has gained 40 thousand followers on Instagram (or students, as he calls them) and counting, using the platform to “teach a fashion lesson”. The charismatic grandpa receives a lot of positive comments on a daily basis from people who are inspired by his bold outfit choices that he probably wears better than his own grandson.
