Norwegian painter Audun Grimstad created a series of paintings that deconstruct the rich and colorful garments and space around them in an attempt to expose the huge role of beauty and fashion in our lives.
The artist uses elements of fashion design what’s the role of talent and creativity is obvious. The clothes are the most important aspect of each painting, but the background is equally fascinating.
“His current series of work, “HEARTLAND” plays with elements of fashion design — ornate garments, lush spaces, bold colors — to create abstract arrangements and mysterious worlds that explore issues of identity the feeling of being trapped inside the facades we construct around ourselves,” the artist’s website reads.
