Artist David Jardine doodles characters on coffee stains on paper, making up entertaining stories along the way. He films the whole process and you can watch it on his YouTube channel.
As he looks at each coffee stain, he imagines what it looks like and explains the reason he’s drawing a certain thing over it. We are absolutely in love with his style and hope you will be, too.
“So I’m David Jardine and I draw on coffee stains,” Laughing Squid quotes the artist. “This is me right here. This is a portrait of myself. I actually like to think of myself as sort of like a toilet and then the world just sort of dumps whatever in there and I vomit it out onto a microphone and right here. This is the microphone attached to the internet.”
