These Amazing Sculptures Are Inspired By Nike Air Max Shoes

Rosie Lee is a hybrid creative agency specializing in retail design, branding and digital, bringing innovative ideas in today’s world.

Recently, the group paid tribute to the Pompidou center – a Paris museum that inspired Nike’s designer Tinker Hatfield to develop Nike Air Max 1 in the late 80s – by transforming the legendary shoe into a 3D sculpture of its Parisian model.

The design is very similar to the inside-out architectural elements of the building which was designed by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers in the 70s.

The London-based agency also created 3D illustrations for other Air Max models, Nike Air Max 90 and Nike Air Max 95, which is designed to resemble the human anatomy, the inspiration of Nike’s designer Sergio Lozano.
