Artist Creates Adorable Illustrations Using Only an iPad

Technology is ever-changing and ever-improving.

Just a decade ago, smartphones were only becoming a thing and the notion of tablets was often scoffed at since people had laptops and desktops anyway.

These days though, smartphones are king and tablets are set to substantially lower the market share of laptops.

Why? There are a lot of reasons, but these illustrations below are a good example.

Created using only the Procreate App that’s available on the App Store and an iPad Pro with the Apple Pencil, Chicago-based illustrator Yuliya Pieletskaya creates her own watercolor-esque portraits that look like they were painted on paper.

Granted, much of the result is because of the illustrator’s own talent, but you can’t help but be amazed by how well the iPad was made to make this happen.

Perhaps the day that tablets take over the laptop’s share of the market is going to come sooner rather than later.
