Howard Weliver has loved art his entire life since he was a little boy. Originally from Texas, the artist got his degree in Advertising Design and has spent the majority of the last 25 years in Commercial Arts. And now, he is making the permanent transition from commercial art to fine art.
Recently, he started a project called Spirit Animal, a collection of colorful animals. “The Spirit Animal is the one who comes to you in order to show you, through its own unique nature and skills, how to deal with the manifestations of your sacred journey. Spirit Animals do not necessarily guide you, but they come to teach you that which you need to learn, in order to know how to meet the challenges of your journey,” the artist wrote on Bored Panda and added that you do not choose your Spirit Animal, it chooses you.
