Artist Uses Optical Illusions to Create 3D Attractions Using Ordinary Buildings

Some creatives take the phrase “the world is your canvass” a little bit too literally.

Case in point, the street artist known simply as “Peeta”.

Using ordinary buildings, Peeta creates optical illusion murals designed with the location in mind and created, arguably, to mess with the minds of anyone who lays eyes on them.

The Venice-based artist’s work is truly captivating, to say the least.

Once he’s done working his magic on the walls, the structures transform into something completely different. From something bland, they end up becoming twisted versions of themselves, looking more like giant abstract sculptures than the boring and dull buildings that they previously used to be.
