Bashir Sultani Creates Art By Stacking Pencils

Bashir Sultani is artist who likes to engage into intriguing and experimental art projects that allow him to express his creativity. After doing a series of portraits using only salt, he decided now to turn to pencils. His pencil art, however, is not what you would expect.

Sultani doesn’t draw with pencils, but rather stacks them on each other on a flat surface in order to get the image he wants. He doesn’t make any altercations or interventions to the pencils and gets the most out of combining various colors or using erasing tips as a way to “paint a picture.”

You can check out some of his works below and engage into similar experiment yourself.
