Cake Artist Creates Sweets That Look Like Everyday Objects

Luke Vincentini is a talented baker who creates sweet treats that you would feel sorry eating. According to the 23-year-old cake artist, who also works at the well-known Carlo’s Bakery in Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey, he seeks inspiration from everyday objects such as cups of coffee, wood log, soda cans, and fruits. He needs around 14 hours to finish each cake, and although he isn’t a huge cake person, he still loves people’s reactions.

“They usually go nuts but there have been people who say it’s makes them uncomfortable to watch,” the cake artist shared with Story Trender. “I feel great when finishing a cake. A little relieved too. After looking at something for so long, you kind of just start nit-picking every little thing. I totally do that with my cakes but that’s what makes them even more spot on.”
