Californian chef and baker Loria Stern makes flower pressed shortbread cookies that look like a fairy tale come true. Each cookie is made by hand, from start to finish, including the flowers themselves which are personally picked. To make things even better, many of the herbs, edible flowers, fruits, and vegetables that she uses in her dishes come from Stern’s home garden.
“All cookies are made by hand with utmost care,” writes Stern on her website. “Cookies are pressed with flowers and herbs seasonally available. Every cookie is different and pressed with individual botanicals.”
The private chef and caterer loves creating equally delicious and healthy foods by using local, seasonal and highest quality ingredients. “We take immense pride in our high-quality ingredients and care,” Stern writes. “All ingredients are organic and of the highest quality.”
