Artist Gil Bruvel began experimenting with art at a young age. His father, a cabinet maker, introduced him to the world of wood sculpting and furniture design which he applied years later.

For his unique figurative sculptures, Bruvel arranges the pile of sticks and paints them in vibrant colors. On one side, the colored wooden pieces form into faces with tranquil expressions, while on the other side, they remain abstract and cluttered. The pixelated sculptures are like stylish 3D pin art that show images of beautiful faces.

The art pieces, which are part of the series called, Bending The Lines, are currently on display in Federic Got Gallery’s booth as a part of the LA Art Show from January 23 – 27, 2019.
