David White is Crafting the Most Epic Glass Dinosaur Sculptures

Dinosaurs have been extinct for millenniums, but that’s not stopping modern-day artists from being fascinated by them. David White is one of them, and he’s making the most magnificent dino glass sculptures that you’ll ever come across.

White is a talented glass artist, who was introduced to this art form while studying at Tulane University. His life took a wild turn when he signed up for a glassblowing class led by Gene Koss, and this was where he found his true calling.

“I wasn’t an art major, but nobody would have guessed that based on the vast amount of time I spent in the glass studio. After four years learning how to work with the trickiest and most beautiful art form in the world, I wanted glass to remain part of my life,” writes White on his official website.

He went on to polish his glassblowing skills in the years to come, discovering new techniques such as flameworking. After working a series of odd jobs, he decided to go all in 2021 and quit his job to dedicate his life to glass art full-time.

He went on to become a huge Instagram sensation with over 100,000 followers under his belt thanks to his dinosaur-inspired borosilicate glass art. His creations mostly take the shape of carefully assembled dinosaur skeletons in all the colors of the rainbow, and they’re keeping the spirit of these awe-inspiring creatures alive.
