“Art plays a very big part of my life. It’s what I wake up to and go to bed with,” artist Lisa den Teuling says about her passion for art. Inspired by everything that surrounds her, she creates illustrations based on women, animals, and nature.
“I always start with a certain subject and create a mindmap around it. I do some word associations and create a mood board and color scheme. The first part of this process is mainly intuitive. After this, I start connecting the dots and I sketch a few ideas, of which I work out one of them. Which will then become the final piece,” the visual concept developer, who is also the owner of Studio Lisa based in The Netherlands said in an interview for Ballpit and added that she uses mixed media when creating her illustrations. However, she has recently become obsessed with digital art.
