Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin is a Vancouver-based pie artist who bakes pies that are out of this world.
It’s interesting that a talented woman wasn’t always so skilled in the kitchen – only two years ago she didn’t know anything about baking.
“I was not a kitchen person by any stretch of the imagination. I’ve literally burned ichiban”, the artist told CBC Arts.
Not only is she a master in baking today, but Clark-Bojin is also an Insta celebrity. Her Instagram page Pies Are Awesome inspires more than 54 thousand followers.
“My mission is to show the world that not only can
pies go head-to-head against the poshest wedding cakes and fancy-pants desserts
on the most discerning buffet tables of the world, but that they can be fun and
easy to pull off too”, she wrote on her website.
If you take a close look at her creations, you’ll
notice a few familiar faces on her pies, like Thor, Oprah or Bowie. It would be
a shame to eat these incredible works of art.
