When people watched Game of Thrones’ “The Long Night,” they’ve gone crazy because they couldn’t see a thing in the Battle at Winterfell, but this week’s episode titled “The Last of the Starks,” it seems they saw too much.
During the victory party scene, fans spotted a modern Starbucks-like coffee cup in front of the table where Daenerys Targaryen was seated. Thanks to the banquet hall lighting, you didn’t have to be a three-eyed raven to see this coffee cup.
Despite the great attention to detail the production designers and crew put into every episode, it appears someone needs coffee that day and probably the staff was so worn out he/she forgot to put away the cup before they shot the scene.
HBO has responded to the viral post stating that “The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an herbal tea.” It turns out they still got Daenerys’ order wrong.
