It’s pretty rare to see celebrity pets become superstars in their own right—and then there’s Glen Powell’s puppy Brisket. This adorable rescue dog stole the show on the set of Powell’s new movie Twisters and he’s been by his side every step of the way during the promo tour.
Powell adopted Brisket from the Labelle Foundation, after coming across his photo on social media. He was looking for someone to care for in the face of a tough breakup, and he wanted to meet Brisket so much that he took a weekend off filming Twisters to fly to Los Angeles.
He decided to adopt him on the spot, and he’s been by his side ever since. Powell broke the internet after sharing their photos from the Twisters set, and brought Brisket along for several red carpet events, interviews, and photoshoots.
Movie sets can be a lonely place, but Brisket didn’t let that happen on the set of Twisters. He filled everyone’s day with love and joy and brought the cast and crew together.
“Brisket would just kick it with every department head, and he would sit in my chair and just sleep. I had the most adorable picture of Brisket in my Twisters chair at the rodeo. But he really became sort of a set mascot on that movie. It’s just adorable,” Powell told Entrainment Weekly.
