Base Coat Stories is Paying Homage to “Bridgerton” Through Nail Art

Bridgerton is one of the most popular shows to ever premiere on Netflix, and it’s shaping the world of beauty and fashion as we speak. Jasmin Hirsemann of Base Coat Stories loves this period drama as much as the rest of us, and she’s using the power of nail art to pay homage to her favorite characters.

Hirsemann was in awe of other nail artists for years, spending countless hours watching tutorials on YouTube, before finally deciding she has what it takes to follow in their footsteps. She started sharing her nail art on Instagram and attracted over 240,000 followers, becoming one of the most popular manicurists in Germany.

Hirsemann created hundreds of amazing nail art looks over the years, but ended up catching our eye with her Bridgerton-inspired looks. They’d be the talk of the ton if they were around during the Regency Era, and she’d certainly catch Lady Whistledown’s eye.

Hirsemann’s first Bridgerton video has been watched by 2.7 million people, and it sees her crafting nail art looks inspired by Colin Bridgerton, Penelope Featherington, and Will Mondrich. The second video is equally impressive, and it sees her mimicking the delicate patterns of outfits worn by Francesca Bridgerton, Tilley Arnold, and Eloise Bridgerton.
