If you like unusual comics that cover a range of subjects in unexpected and somewhat weird ways but always pack a great joke, then Loose Parts Comics are just the thing for you.
In these comics, you’ll find clever puns, aliens who mistakenly use inappropriate sign language to introduce themselves to humans, sharks who are trying to game dating apps, obsessive-compulsive leaf raking, and more.
Created by illustrator and writer Dave Blazek, Loose Parts Comics has been entertaining millions of people for more than two decades. They have been published in more than 120 media outlets in the USA and Canada and continue to be featured in newspapers like The Washington Post, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Toronto Sun.
Blazek describes his Loose Parts comics as “oddly intelligent, weirdly entertaining and impulsively funny” while adding that people in them are “dumber than each other” while animals are “smarter than anyone else”.
“It roams living rooms, medieval castles and science labs; it peeks into suburban kitchens and operating rooms and treks to outer space and beyond, all in the search of funny. It views the world from a different angle so you don’t hurt your neck trying to do it for yourself,” Blazek shares.
