Lindsay Stripling is a San Francisco-based illustrator and teacher with a great talent for creating whimsical illustrations. “I approach illustration and lettering from a more hands on and materials based approach, so my work is always coming from a place of layering, texture and experimentation,” she writes on her website.
Her work often revolves around surreal and edgy themes that have the elements of folk, nature, psychology, and community. When she’s not in her backyard studio, she’s usually in Golden Gate Park or in a library, looking for her next read.
Stripling has worked with many commercial clients before, including Nike, Illustoria Magazine, Catapult Magazine, Mind Body Green, and many more. Scroll down to see some of her illustrations.
