This 13-Year-Old Girl Created Over 300 Animal Paintings to Help Endangered Species

Bria Neff is a 13-year-old girl who paints animals and donates her artwork in order to help endangered animals around the world. This brave girl is also trying to inspire other kids around the world and raise environmental awareness.

At the age of eight, when she didn’t even know what the word ‘endangered’ meant, Bria entered an art contest hosted by the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and won. Once she found out that there are more than 6000 endangered animal species in the world, the girl decided to help them!

“We all have an important and powerful role to play and if we work together, we will change the world. So be original, stand out and speak up and let your positivity and creativity shine through. It isn’t always easy or popular but being true to yourself is the bravest thing you can do,” the girl told *Bored Panda*.

In the past five years, Bria created more than three hundred unique paintings and managed to raise $69,000. She donated this money to organizations that work to protect wildlife and preserve natural habitats. The girl now hopes to achieve a new goal and raise $100,000.
