Keli Spanier is a card creator and the founder of a business called Colette Paperie. She began making cards when she was working in a cubicle at a big corporation, however, with time, her cards began to gain fame, so she left her job and dedicated her life to card making.
“I created cards because it was very difficult to find funny ones at the mass merchandise stores,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “I strive to create truly unique cards that tell your story how you want it to be told, not how you think it should be told.”
In her free time, Spanier teaches calligraphy and hand lettering to those interested in this kind of art. Her greeting cards have been featured in numerous publications, like in Huffington Post, Design Milk, Soapbox Cincinnati, Cincy Chic, MSP Mag in Minneapolis, The National Stationery Show, The Paper Chronicles, and many more.
