Poorly Drawn Lines is an awesome webcomic which has been entertaining audiences full-time since 2013. San Francisco-based Reza Farazmand has been making comics since his high school days, to begin publishing them with growing demand during his university education at the University of California, San Diego.

Reza’s first book, Poorly Drawn Lines: Good Ideas and Amazing Stories, was published in 2015 and has since become a New York Times Best Seller. His growing Internet following is enamored with his work which, although drawn in a minimalistic fashion, is incredibly funny and engaging.

Touching on a variety of topics, from space travel, the supernatural, nature, and animals, to friendship, psychology, and existentialism, along with the stories’ plot twists and unexpected endings, Reza’s intellectual and emotional range always keeps audiences wanting more,

The absurdist and satirical tone of Poorly Drawn Lines often revisits some recurring characters, such as Ernesto the bear and Kevin the bird, an arrogant mouse, and an insensitive robot that’s always trying to be more human, often at some actual human’s expense. The mix of self-deprecation and extreme arrogance of the characters resonate with a millennial audience and their particular brand of humor.
