Weddings cost a lot of money. Even if you are putting together a smaller wedding ceremony, paying for the venue, decor, photographer, and food and drinks can put a lot of strain on your budget. But with some creativity and effort, you can bring these costs down.
TikTok user Hannah Fox recently amazed the internet with her DIY project that helped her save some money while organizing her upcoming wedding. In a video shared on social media, Fox showed how she took an old wooden shipping container lid and used leftover paint and acrylics to make a budget-friendly wedding sign.
According to Fox, she estimates that the wedding sign came at the cost of £2 ($2.56). Depending on the size and look, wedding signs can usually cost anywhere from $50 to $1,200.
“Looks rustic but do you know what for the price you can’t complain!!,” Fox wrote in the caption of the video.
Fox’s DIY video ended up getting a lot of attention on social media. TikTok users were impressed with the idea, and some even decided to borrow it.
“I showed this to my sister who is getting married this fall, I am now her artist who is making her one! Love it,” @maddieg424 wrote in the comments section.
