Tom Froese’s Creativity Knows No Bounds

Tom Froese’s illustrations are, literally, all over the place. From magazines and greeting cards to beer labels and ceramics, his colorful illustration add a touch of humor to everyday items.

A designer by training, Froese has worked as a freelance illustrator since 2013, collaborating with brands like Yahoo!, Air Canada, GQ France, and Abrams Publishing.

“My work is inspired by illustrations from the 1950s and 60s, which were often constrained by simpler reproduction techniques like letterpress, screen printing, and limited color offset printing,” he told Ape on the Moon. “In terms of mood, I aim to create work that has a friendly swagger and a gentle freedom to it.”
