Toronto Teacher Creates Heartwarming Comics about His Life as Dad and Husband

Art can be a great way to take your mind off of stress and everyday struggles. For example, Christopher Grady, a teacher from Toronto and father of two, began drawing sketches and illustrations as a way to cope with depression and anxiety. He chronicled his everyday life and situations he encountered as a father, husband, and teacher.

“I needed a positive place to focus all my thoughts and found that when I was making comics I felt a little bit better,” – Christopher describes his early beginnings.

He started posting his drawings and comic online, without expecting a major response. People, however, liked his works immediately and started relating to the comics. That’s how Lunarbaboon comics were born.

In his comics, Christopher manages to tackle complex issues and explained them in a simple fashion that is understandable to everyone. Check out some of his interesting and heartwarming comics below.
