TikTok user @treevibenana recently shared a video in which she gave her followers a tour of her sister’s bedroom. The special thing about it is that nothing has been touched there since the 1980s, resulting in a proper “time capsule” experience.
As it turns out, after @treevibenana’s sister moved out as a teenager, their parents decided to keep the room as it is and it remained that way for almost four decades. The clip shows walls covered with posters of popular glam metal bands from the ‘80s, like Def Leppard and Whitesnake, actor Johnny Depp, and the TV show Miami Vice. There is also an American flag on the bed, various toys from the era, and a collection of books.
“My sisters room was kept just as it was when she left home as a teenager! Literally nothing removed. It was like stepping back in time to when I was a teenager!!!,” @treevibenana wrote in the caption of the video.
