Video game Fortnite, which became a global phenomenon in recent years, is now a music venue. Popular EDM artist Marshmello recently hosted a live set on Fortnite with several million players virtually tuning in to witness the show.
When players logged into the game on Saturday, they were enabled to join the Showtime mode and attend Marshmello’s concert via their avatars. The music producer himself interacted with the players and encouraged them to dance.
