Georgiana Tarlungeanu is an artist who is passionate about architecture, traveling, and sketching and she combined these passions into a rather interesting hobby. Georgiana brings a sketchbook everywhere she travels, and she makes beautiful drawings of interesting views, landscapes, and buildings. She started doing this seven years ago and so far she made around 500 sketches on her trips around Europe.
At some point during this interesting drawing adventure, Georgiana started experimenting with her style by changing the perspective and proportions of her sketches. “At some point 2 years ago, I got bored with keeping the real aspect of the place with its specific measurements and proportions. An idea popped into my head to start distorting and bending the reality,” the artist shared in Bored Panda.
“I wanted to challenge the viewer’s mind with various types of perspectives while keeping a lot of realistic details. It makes you reanalyze what you see from a different angle and question the reality you live in,” she added.
We can only guess that with her impressive talent and skill, Georgiana doesn’t need to buy souvenirs on her travels, as she has her own memories sketched on paper. Check out her artwork in the photos below.
