Morgana Fadanelli is a talented artist who gets inspired by people she meets, places, music, nature, colors, and emotions. She studied illustration and comics design and has been working as a graphic and textile designer for a few years, however, her goal is to become a full-time freelance illustrator.
Browsing through her Instagram gallery, you will notice that Fadanelli mostly paints human characters, but plants and images of enchanting landscapes can also be seen.
“I sketch my ideas, then do a preparatory drawing that I use as a base for the painting. I started with the main colors and then add details,” the artist shared in an interview for Ballpit. “I mostly work with liquid ink. I love the aspect of it, the colors are mild but bright. I like to prepare a base of the color grade before I start to paint, feeling like a little alchemist, mixing the color to get the right tone.”
