Even if you don’t like mice, you will have a hard time resisting them in the form of adorable felted creations by Brazilian artist Kel.
Using wool and needle, Kel creates realistic felted mice that will overwhelm you with cuteness thanks to their big eyes and floppy ears. They are also dressed in custom-made whimsical outfits to highlight their personalities and give off Stuart Little vibes.
In her work, Kel uses natural materials sourced from a local farm as part of her efforts to promote sustainability. It can take up to 20 hours for her to finish a single felted mouse piece, but according to the artist, it is all worth it.
“Each time I create a felted creature, it brings me a sense of peace, and it’s my hope that they bring that same whimsical joy to others,” Kel shares on her website.
Kel frequently shares her newest works on social media while also making them available for purchase through different webshops. More than a hundred of her felted mice, with each one being a unique creation, have found new homes around the world.
