Instagram user, Kevin Parry, has been giving his followers animation tutorials. He posts videos and shows them how he makes it work.
According to the talented animator, it takes up to three days to animate one shot. He does the work physically with a green background. In the videos, you can see him using his hands to support the object in a circular fashion or otherwise.
The position of the camera is also important to create a perfect shot that would be edited later on with an application. Most of the time, the objects used cannot stand on their own; they need external support.
Also, Parry watches some animals in action to be able to replicate their movement. For instance, to create the moon beast, he watched videos of crocodiles and alligators swimming in water.
He does a lot of retakes before he finds one that is close to perfect. Parry also uses the props to create more animations. According to him, no animator is fully satisfied with his shots. Watch the videos below.
