Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, when love and support for those in need are brought to a whole another level; not just for humans, but for animals, as well. One magician decided to bring joy to pups from a shelter by presenting them a magic trick.
John Stessel has been doing magic since his early childhood, and in his funny, yet heartwarming project, he teamed up with director Rob Bliss and TBS to visit Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in New York. There, the magician made treats disappear in front of the dogs’ eyes and their reactions were hilarious; some were confused, others outright refused to deal with disappearing treats, and some even started dancing. However, the true purpose of this project, other than cheering up the doggies, was to show off that shelter dogs have wonderful personalities.
