Malaysian Artist Documents His Life Using Paint

Malaysian-born illustrator and visual development artist, Leon Lee, describes himself as an artist currently working in the animation industry; who during his free time, loves to paint and hang out with his friends. Inspired by the Californian culture, where he currently lives, the artist enjoys painting landscapes that are meaningful for him.

“Everyone has their own way of remembering things,” Lee told Bored Panda. “Some people keep a diary, and some people take photos, but I like to paint. I think it is a great idea to record special moments or events in our life and be able to look back on them. I encourage everyone to go out and see the world, enjoy nature, and learn to appreciate all that surrounds us.”

His work has been showcased in galleries such as, Light Grey Art Lab, Giant Robot Gallery, Cartoon Network Studios Gallery, as well as the Society of Illustrators.
