These Quirky Ceramics by Former YouTube Star Will Brighten Up Your Day

You might know Marzia Bisognin as the YouTube star and girlfriend of fellow YouTuber, PewDiePie, but did you know she is also a talented artist?
Bisognin recently quit YouTube to focus on her other projects and launched her own brand of fine jewelry, pottery, and décor items called Mai.

While all her creations look great, we were especially blown away by Marzia’s unique ceramic creations. She turns the most mundane objects into adorable and quirky characters that will definitely put a smile on your face.

I’ve been trying to work out what products I can make without my wheel, so that I can have other things outside of pots that you can enjoy (since making pots is more time consuming and can only make so many with the limited time I have at the pottery studio). You already saw the candle holders, which I love and will keep making. I also added carrot and pepper incense holders, which may require some improvement, but I like their overall look. Then I tried making some hand shaped decorative pieces; these are lovely, but too thin so I may try again (if you like them) making them thicker to avoid breakage. Finally, I love the small broken dish! I posted that I had broken one of the bowls I was working on, and you guys suggested I would make it into a dish. I started making it round, when I realised I quite liked the uneven shape. So I’m planning on recreating the design on purpose. Hope you like what I’ve been working on! There will be a pottery restock next week. 🌶
