Needle Felting Artist Dresses Mice In Adorable Costumes

Rachel Austin describes herself as a textile artist from Gloucestershire, England who has been needle felting for around 6 years now. One of her first attempts was a little mouse.

“Since then I’ve made literally hundreds of felted mice in all colors, shapes, and sizes,” Austin shared on Bored Panda. “I thought it would be fun to dress some up as famous characters. I sewed the outfits from bits of scrap fabric and sculpted tiny accessories from clay. I’m fairly new at photography but I enjoy photographing the mice all dressed up, and sometimes I set them in different scenes to produce whimsical artwork.”

From Mozart to Batman, the artist shares her mice on her Instagram account where she has attracted almost two hundred followers.

Except for mice, the artist needle felts other animals, as well.
