Christian Lindgren describes himself as a young(-ish) Norwegian fella who loves to travel. He often finds himself drawn to the places where no-one, or at least a few people, considers going to. The traveller, photographer, beer lover and adventurer has already seen over 100 countries. In his latest adventures he has visited Baghdad and Southern Iraq.
“After months of paperwork and waiting did I finally receive my tourist visa for Baghdad and Iraq a country that since the western invasion in 2003, been considered to be one of the most dangerous cities on Earth,” traveler shared. “During my travel in Iraq did I visit Baghdad – Samarra -Ctesiphon – The Ziggurat of Dur-Kurigalzu – Karbala – Najaf – Kufa -Babylon – The Mesopotamian Marshes – Basra. And I even took the local train from Basra back to Baghdad.”
