His latest movie, Detective Pikachu, which is released today, May 10, is about a young boy who encounters a talking Pikachu (voiced by Reynolds) whose dream is to become a detective. We all know Reynolds loves pranks and funny tweets and as expected, the actor made a joke about the film.
The Deadpool star surprised his fans by sharing a link to a “leaked” full movie on YouTube. But the so-called “full movie” is not the one that’s hitting the big screen soon.
The video is a 100 minutes of Pikachu dancing to ‘80s aerobics music. The “leak” worked as a publicity stunt to promote the film. Millions have already watched the video and people were retweeting Reynold’s link. There are others saying that this “movie” was even better than they expected. Check out the video below.
