Spectacular Images Showing Flowers Blooming from the Bodies of Animals

Italian artist Nunzio Paci found an intriguing way to combine flora and fauna in his acrylic paintings. Paci paints animals with their skeletons revealed, but avoids showing their inner organs. Instead, he replaces them with blooming flowers that makes the animals look like they came straight from a fairytale.

Besides working on this and other series of paintings, Nunzio Paci is also scheduled to become an Artist-in-Residence at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. During his residency, he will teach Studio Practice and prepare his upcoming solo exhibition.
