Gaia Manzo is a 28-year-old
miniaturist, and she lives in Cagliari,
Italy. She creates miniature food items in fimo
clay. This talented artist makes miniatures out of anything, but she mainly creates accessories and miniature food. Her work is unique because she
creates every single detail by herself, from the plywood to the painting as
well as the construction of the cutlery
and cups.
Manzo recreates different scenarios in a
miniature form. She believes that small moments can be preserved with miniature sculptures. Her passion for this hobby
became a real job, and the Italy based artist hopes to create more sculptures in the future.
She does use any special tools to carve
the clay while making the miniatures. She uses needles, toothpicks, chisels as
well as resin. This is because they are
versatile and can be used in many ways.
