This Artist Proves Your Ceramic Set Doesn’t Have to Be Boring

Guess what time it is? Tea time! Take our your fancy cups and saucers as we delve inside the wonderful world of ceramics. And what better place to start with than Katy Stubbs’ hallirious ceramics collection.

This London-based ceramicist makes comical cups, plates, and jugs; adding a whimsical twist to your traditional collection. Originally trained in illustration with a BFA at the School of Visual Arts in New York, 
Stubbs now works in her studio in Brixton.

“I love that I can make all aspects of a piece,” she told Horst und Edeltraut Magazine. “It’s not just painting on to a canvas that already has a set form. I get to use the ceramic shapes to help tell my story.”
