Ann Wood is simply amazing in making fruits and vegetables out of painted paper. It wasn’t easy for us to tell if these are real or not! she molds the shapes from paper and then paints them realistically, mimicking the unique fuzziness of peaches, juiciness of citruses, and even the dirt on the root vegetables.

Enjoy the images below!

I do enjoy making these paper roots and bulbs almost as much as making the flowers. . . I thought I’d tell you about my roots today. I grew up on a farm in Iowa, in the center of the US. My graduating class was 18 people and that included 3 towns. I first studied photography at a technical college then when on to art school where I met my husband, @deanlucker. Dean and I have made all kinds of things, had various art businesses and spend most of days creating.🌿 . . #woodlucker #annwood #dsfloral #ccseasonal #paperart #paperflowers #paperlicious #papernotpicked #paperartist #creativityfound #creativeflatlays #craftsposure #artisticmoods #natureinspired #floralfix #floral_perfection #petalsandprops #underthefloralspell #seekmoments #antiques #gardening #simplethingsmadebeautiful #simpleandpure #simpleandstill #thatauthenticfeeling #makersvillage #makeitblissful #nothingisordinary #littlestoriesofmylife
