24-Year-Old Creates an Eco-Friendly Packaging Alternative to Plastic

It’s no secret that our world is close to drowning in plastic (quite literally). Its is estimated that every day approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our oceans.

So it’s critically important that we find ways, not just to curb plastic production, but to provide alternatives that are just as useful and not as harmful to the environment. These alternatives should hopefully be affordable enough for businesses of all sizes to make a profit.

L’embeillage is an eco-friendly packaging alternative to plastic that’s made from beeswax. Its inventor, a 24-year-old named Quentin, came up with the idea after meeting a family in Australia that used beeswax instead of plastic in their household. He decided to perfect the formula, using organic ingredients only. The result was his brand: L’embeillage.
