Artist Creates 3D Embroidery Designs With Dresses Flowing Freely

Kayra Handmade, owned by Dutch fiber artist Ceren, offers a variety of art including paintings and embroidery.

She took embroidery to another level by adding three-dimensional elements, such as flowing hair and dresses that cascade freely from the hoop canvas.

Using fine fabric, cotton threads, and beads, sewn on cotton fabric, each piece is delicately handcrafted by the artist. Most of her works are rendered in black thread outlines with vibrant, nature-inspired scenes. One design shows a woman on a swing with her hair and skirt flowing freely outside the hoop.
