Alexandra Cech is an artist who has interests in all different kinds of fields, but art has always been her number one passion. She is also a huge animal lover and has three dogs of her own, as well.
One day, Cech came up with an idea to combine her two passions and create animal portraits for her clients. “I’ve been painting pets almost exclusively for a few years now, and one of my favorite things to see is the final painting side by side with its subject,” the artist shared on Bored Panda. “Since I work from photographs I rarely get to meet the pet that I’m painting, but seeing them with their portrait is definitely the next best thing.”
Cech makes hand-drawn and painted portraits of cute pets. She has graduated from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia and began sharing her work on her Instagram account called painted.paws.
