Artist Turns Pets Into Geeky Pokemon Cards

Part of the reason why the Pokemon franchise has been so successful over the past few decades is because of the Pokemon Trading Card Game.

First launched way back in 1996, the Pokemon Trading Card Game has taken a life of its own, earning fans from all over the world. Not to mention, it’s been quite lucrative as well, with limited edition cards selling for thousands of dollars in auctions.

But, we’re not here to talk about the rarity of Pokemon Trading Card Game cards or how expensive they are. Rather, we’re here to talk about the work of Italy-based artist, Stephanie Parcus.

The Brazilian artist, who’s also the owner of WildpetsCreations, has used his artistic talents to transform pets of all sizes into their very own Pokemon cards.

Yes, you read that right.

These one-of-a-kind cards could really pass off as legitimate ones at first glance, as it’s complete with all sorts of nifty information about the featured pet, such as their name, illustration, attacks, strengths, as well as weaknesses. Each pet even has its own type and species!
