Carolyn Gavin is an illustrator, painter, and surface pattern designer from Toronto, Canada. Her work is vibrant, colorful, and playful, and reflects her growing up in South Africa as a ‘60s flower child who then traveled around Europe and moved to North America.
Carolyn studied to be a graphic designer. She learned painting from artist Nina Campbell-Quine. Ecojot is the project she and her family started around her art so she could do custom commission work.
Carolyn’s portfolio includes fabric design, package design, book design, children bedding design, and so on. She finds inspiration in travel, flowers, exotic colors and patterns.
