Cake art is constantly evolving, and Charm City is doing a great job taking it to the next level. This company was started by celebrity chef Duff Goldman, and some of its best cakes are inspired by our favorite pop culture characters.
Charm City Cakes was originally founded in Baltimore, but Goldman ended up opening another shop in Los Angeles after he found fame thanks to Food Network’s reality television show Ace of Cakes.
He can make pretty much anything in cake form, but his pop-culture inspired cakes are our absolute favorites.
If you take a moment to scroll through the bakery’s Instagram page, you’ll stumble upon amazing creations inspired by everything from Harry Potter and Star Wars to Game of Thrones and Sesame Street. Many of them are personalized and even mix different pop culture references.
It’s not unusual to see Charm City Cakes do such great work with this type of cakes. They worked closely with a long list of celebrity clients over the years and made cakes to mark the finales of many beloved TV shows, including Lost and 30 Rock.
