These Makeup Artists Will Inspire Your Halloween Looks

Halloween is a great opportunity to experiment with fashion and makeup. With Halloween around the bend, we’ve assembled some of our best makeup artists to take note of. These people don’t shy away from making a statement. Who knows? Perhaps you’ll learn a thing (or two) you can also incorporate into your day to day outfit.

Isamya Ffrench

British make-up artist Isamya Ffrench admits that making people pretty isn’t her thing. She’d rather use her models as canvases, upon which she paints. The result is both striking and eerie, attracting brands like M.A.C Cosmetics, Junya Watanabe, and Chloé.

“I’m just not solely interested in exploring what we are commercially fed as ‘beautiful’,” she once said in an interview with Forbes. “I have my own instincts about beauty and what moves me and that’s what I pursue.”

Eszter Domonkos

Eszter Domonkos’ makeup art focuses mainly around the eyes, adding a dose of playfulness to her eyelids. “I’ve always had an obsession with eyes, I just think they are beautiful,” said the Hungarian makeup artist in an interview with Office magazine. If you’re looking for a last-minute Halloween makeup look you’ve come to the right place.

Lottie

We’ve never seen someone take to color as much as Lottie does. Known only by her first name, the self-made makeup artist incorporates glitter and neon into her eye-popping looks. Her clients include megastars like Drew Barrymore, Rihanna, and Emilia Clarke. Take note!
